Banner Lighthouse
I never expected to find this lighthouse in Banner Marsh State Wildlife Area. It is about 60 feet tall. I took a peek inside, and I heard a fluttering sound. I was expecting to see bats, but instead saw dozens of barn swallow nests, with each of the birds staring at me. I'm sure they were wondering who this strange visitor was at 3am. The inside was split into several sections, and there were ladders going up and down. In this shot, I was standing off to the left and illuminated the structure at an angle with my headlamp.
